We want you to be totally satisfied with all products purchased from Diesel Parts NZ Online Store.

If you are not totally satisfied with your purchase, please choose the most convenient option from our Returns Policy below.

Note:

  • If your purchase is found to be defective or faulty we will be happy to repair or replace it providing it falls within the terms and conditions of our Warranty Policy 
  • Please choose your products wisely as they cannot be returned if you have already installed the unit on the engine
  • Changing your mind is NOT a sufficient reason for returning an item, however please take the opportunity to discuss your situation with one of our team to see if we can come up with a suitable resolution for you

1) Taking it to a Diesel Services NZ store

The easiest and quickest way to return your item(s) is to take them to your local Diesel Services NZ Store for a replacement or refund or repair along with your copy tax invoice as proof of purchase.

The store manager will happily address your concerns and if necessary refund, replace or repair the item. Please ensure you have your copy tax invoice with you as proof of purchase.

Return of goods may be denied if the goods are damaged through incorrect installation, neglect, or used for a purpose other than they where intended.

2) Sending it back to the Online Store.

WE WILL PAY THE RETURN FREIGHT FOR ANY FAULTY ITEMS (I.E. If the Product delivered is faulty, not of merchantable quality, not fit for its intended purpose, does not match the description on the Site or IS covered under warranty from the manufacturer) OR INCORRECTLY FILLED ORDERS ONLY.

To return an item by post, or courier please contact us either by email enquiries@dieselparts.co.nz or telephoning us on 095250830. Let us know your customer order number and your personal details along with which item(s) you wish to return, and the details of any fault.

We will happily address your concerns and if necessary email a Returns Authorisation Notice to you. This will be a copy of the original invoice with the Return Authorisation noted on it. Items returned without a Returns Authorisation Notice cannot be processed.

When you receive this email, simply print out the returns note and place it in your parcel with the item(s) you wish to return. Please package your item(s) securely, using the original outer packaging where possible.

Return by either Post or Courier will depend on the size and weight of the item you wish to return. We will inform you which means is necessary when you contact us about your return. If the item(s) can be returned by post please take to any NZ Post outlet. Ensure item(s) is securely packaged and labelled with the return address provided on the Returns Authorisation Notice.

If we advise that the item(s) require collection by courier please contact us on +6495250830 and arrange a suitable time for collection and we will arrange a courier to collect the item from the address the item was shipped too only. Ensure item(s) is securely packaged and labelled with the return address provided on the Returns Authorisation Notice.

Once we receive the returned item, we will assess the unit and contact you with a warranty report and notice of resolution. If the unit is deemed faulty or defective, we will endeavour to send you a replacement or refund your payment within 14 days (excluding shipments to remote locations), providing your Returns Authorisation Notice is included with the item(s) returned.
